It’s Halloween. This is the time of the year whenever fear and evil are celebrated. Scary masks cover store shelves and children and adults alike dress up and pretend to be someone that they aren’t.
As Christians, there is a debate as to whether we should celebrate Halloween at all! We are called to be light in a dark world. Many say that Halloween is just for kids to get some candy and have a little fun. So where do we draw the line?
Honestly, I’m not sure.
But what I do know is that evil cannot be present in the presence of our Lord and that is what I’ve chosen to focus on this year. If Halloween has you on edge this year just remember that our God bigger and more powerful than any force of evil.
God wins over evil every single time.
