By the time you read this, I’ll be happily enjoying my vacation and you guys, I needed this vacation! I can’t wait to spend an entire week with my husband and my family. We’ll be spending lots of time with my family and friends and embarking on a few adventures in Cincinnati. We live for days like these, don’t we? You can follow my trip on Instagram!
While vacations are nice, home is where we belong. So today, I’m going to be sharing 10 romantic home decor ideas. Our home doesn’t look like a picture from a magazine, but we do have little hints throughout the home that tell you that our home is filled with love.
Here are 10 romantic home decor ideas.
Mr. and Mrs. Bedding. The thing about your bedroom is not really that many people see it, so it should be an oasis for you and your spouse. Celebrate the fact that you are together with his and hers pillows.
Chandelier Candles. Candles give off such a lovely glow. Chandelier’s make any room feel fancy and romantic. I think these would look great in the bedroom as well.
Wedding Photos and Honeymoon Memorabilia (similar picture frame – Mouse Ears). As soon as I got our wedding pictures back I knew that I wanted to display them in our room where we would see them every day. We went to Disney world on our honeymoon so I had to display our mouse ears as well. It’s so good to have these reminders of our wedding right there each morning.
Star Lamps. I love this and I want this for our home! It feels just like you are outside. So cool!
Always Kiss Me Good Night Sign. This is a great little reminder of the little things in life that mean so much.
Shadow box with garter, veil, and wedding program (Similar Shadowbox). I have this hanging in our closet. I love my wedding veil and putting it away forever seems like a waste.
Red roses (similar wood sign – fake roses). This little display is on the ledge above our living room. I won the vase in a contest and Bible verses are written around it and I added the flowers. My mom brought the glass jar in Canada and it used to be filled with maple syrup and I found the love sign at the Dollar Store. Super cute and didn’t cost me much to make at all. Just a little reminder that you don’t have to spend a ton of money to have your home look nice.
I Love You Voice Waves. Instead of just the words display sound waves of your spouse saying ‘I love you.’ Very modern and unique.
Lace Canopy around the bed. We had one of these for a while. I love the look. It’s so romantic yet doesn’t make the bed to hot to sleep in.
So there you have it! 10 romantic home decor ideas to give your home a little romantic touch. Which idea is your favorite?
