Marriage is the greatest adventure I have ever been on! I had no clue what I was getting myself into when I said ‘I do’ but I am so glad I did.
‘Confessions of a Newlywed’ is a series celebrating the life of the newlywed. We are here to share our encouraging and sometimes funny stories and helpful advice. You can read more stories and submit your own confessions here.
Rhiannon and Andrew
Tell us a little about yourself and your blog.
I am a wife of 2 1/2 years and mom to a sweet 1 year old. We met in college during the fall. Fell in love and got married the next summer. During my last month of school I started Whatsoever is Lovely Living. My blog is focused on loving life, living the word and serving Jesus. It’s encouragement for the journey of life in every season.
When did you get married?

Tell us a little about your husband. What do you love about him?
My husband’s name is Andrew and I love so much about him. My favorite things would probably have to be his heart for God and his heart to serve.
Anytime I need help with somethings or I ask him to do something he is so gracious about doing it.
He continually inspires me to serve others and serve him out of love.
What Confessions Would you like to make about being a Newlywed?
I must confess I had no idea how selfish or controlling I was until I got married.
Marriage definitely opened my eyes on some stuff I needed to change. With God’s grace and guidance I have grown, but no one should go into marriage thinking it’s easy. It’s not easy, but it is definitely worth it.
Do you have any advice to share with us?
Yes, you’ve heard it before, but newly married couples can never hear it enough: COMMUNICATE. Be open and honest. Intimacy thrives in an honest environment.
What is the best thing about Newlywed life?
Definitely living everyday with your best friend!
Rhiannon has some awesome advice for us: Communicate! Make sure you check out her blog and get to know her!
