I know it isn’t really the Christmas season yet but I can’t help but feel like Thanksgiving and Christmas are related and every day in November and December are a celebration. So when Brian and I visited Ohio a few weeks ago it seemed perfectly fine that we visited a Christmas display.
I haven’t been before but it just so happened to be the Cincinnati Museum Center’s 25th birthday when we went and admission was free so I told my family that we just had to go. I always like to go and see new things.
And I have to say that I’m glad we did because it was so much fun!
First of all, the Duke Energy Holiday Train displays are amazing.
These displays truly made me feel like I was walking in a winter wonderland. The snow, the lights, the train sounds, and the happy little people in the towns left me feeling jollier than Santa with a plateful of cookies. And then we got to the Lego train display.
This Lego display absolutely blew my mind. It was like playing a giant game of I Spy. The more you look the more you see. Whilst staring at the display we found Spiderman, the Ghostbusters, Darth Vader, the Flash and many others. I would have stared at it all day if I could have. You definitely have to check this display out.
Once you leave the train display the greatness continues. The Cincinnati Museum Center was once a fully operational train station and it is stunning and gigantic. Just look at this building.
As you wander through the rest of the Cincinnati Museum Center you will see dinosaurs, mummies, astronauts, and many, many other interesting displays.
If you live in Cincinnati then you ought to check the Holiday Train displays out for yourself. I promise you won’t regret it!
You can learn more about the display at the Museum Center’s website.
Have you been to this awesome museum? Tell me about it!
