April flew by for me. You might have noticed that the blog was quieter than normal this month and that’s because I’ve been so busy. April began with Brian’s birthday and a quick trip to Ohio to see my family. Then we celebrated our anniversary. I’ve been sick a lot lately and I feel like this month has just passed me by.
We stopped and saw an old friend on our road trip yesterday and had the best breakfast around. Do you know who he is? If you are from Cincinnati then you’ll know him instantly!!! . . . . . . . #roadtrip #bloggervibes #cincinnati #frischsbigboy #milfordohio #dateyourhusband #thespringproject #bloggerconnection #breakfast
As of now we only have 3 weeks of school left. AGGGHHH!! I can’t believe it. I’m going to miss the little guy I work with but I am so ready for summer and a change of pace. We leave for vacation the day after school ends and I am so excited. First, we’ll be traveling to Illinois for my cousin’s graduation, then we’ll be headed to Ohio to spend an entire week with my family and a few days in Cincinnati. I’ve spent a ton of time researching events and attractions and planning every detail of our vacation. I know I should have spent a little of that time writing, but I just couldn’t. About mid-April I hit a giant wall of writer’s block and it took me about a week, and lots of reflection, to get past it.
Unfortunately, the end of the school year means lots of job decisions to be made. Working as a school aid means that my job can change from year to year so I’ve been spending lots of time considering my options. I hope that my job will stay the same, but I have to have a back-up plan in case it doesn’t. Not knowing is hard and drives me crazy. I also have to think about a summer job. I’d LOVE to just stay home and do the freelancing/blogging thing but I’m not quite ready to take a chance on it because I need to make sure we can pay our bills this summer. I’ve been in contact with a preschool that is literally 2 minutes from my house so I’m hoping that it will work out and that I’ll be working there this summer.
Dating your husband is so much more than just having a little fun, it building a foundation for the rest of your life. Your choices now determine the legacy that you leave for your children after you so make it a good one! Whenever I started writing ‘Dating in Marriage,’ it was because I couldn’t find another book like this. With the help of this book, you won’t have to worry about planning a date night because everything is already done for you. How could a book like this change your marriage? . . . . #marriage #ilovemyhusband #marriageblogger #marriage #instalove #marriageisthebest #marriedlife #marriagetips #marriagetip #marriageadvice #marriagequote #dateyourspouse #theeverygirl #livethelittlethings #pursuepretty #nothingisordinary #goodnewsfeed #myvibrantlife #thehappynow #faithblogger #digdeeper #womanofGod #Christianwoman #christianblog #faithblog #lifestyleblog #christianwriter #thespringproject #gracelovelife @blogger_connection
I also launched a book this month. YAY!! Becoming a published author was a HUGE dream of mine and I am so happy that my book is complete. Dating in Marriage is all about helping you and your spouse connect and grow closer to each other. I’d love it if you all would buy it!
Between birthdays, anniversaries, working about jobs, and my book April was over before it started. I wish I had more exciting news for you, but this is all for now.
May is a new month and I can’t wait to share it with you all. I have exciting things planned for this month (just check back Friday!) and I know you are going to love it. Be on the look out for another Modern Marriage Lessons from the Bible post, a fun recipe, date ideas, and healthy home cleaning tips.
