You know the old saying, “In like a lion, out like a lamb?” Well, I believe that March lived up to it’s name with this one. March 1st brought us storms, hail, flooding, and tornados. We were lucky to get by with just a power outage, but other’s lost their homes and one person lost their night. So March isn’t really off to a good start.
I’m hoping the rest of the month is better!
Anyway, I want to take a minute to just talk to you all and give you a little look into my life and what’s been happening this February.
Valentine’s Day Brian and I actually didn’t have a big, fancy Valentine’s Day this year. We ate at the Briarpatch, which is a lovely restaurant here in Owensboro. They have the best salad bar in town, freshly baked bread, and yummy cheesecake. It was crowded of course, but it was nice to go out for a nice dinner and spend a little time together.
This man right here is pretty amazing! One of my least favorite chores is emptying the dishwasher so. Brian always does that for me. How do you and your spouse split up the chores? . . . . . #marriage #ilovemyhusband #marriageblogger #marriage #instalove #marriageisthebest #marriedlife #marriagetips #marriagetip #marriageadvice #marriagequote #dateyourspouse #theeverygirl #livethelittlethings #pursuepretty #nothingisordinary #goodnewsfeed #myvibrantlife #littlestoriesofmylife #darlingdaily #blogpassionproject#thepeonyproject #chasinglight #thatsdarling #darlingmovement #flashesofdelight #petitejoys #thehappynow #thewinterproject
Smoothies Brian gave me a magic bullet for Valentine’s Day and I am on a huge smoothie kick now. My favorite is blueberry-banana. If you have a good smoothie recipe I’d love to hear it!
The Mavericks Brian and I went to our first ever Kentucky Mavericks game a few weeks ago and I had so much more fun than I thought I would! The Mavericks are a semi-pro team that just recently moved to Owensboro. It was so much fun to cheer on our hometown team and they won! I can’t wait to go back!
3 Years Since I Met Brian It feels like I’ve known him for a lifetime, but Brian and I actually only met 3 years ago, and had our first date in February 2014. Some would say that Brian and I got married to quick, but I think that I made the right decision. We have our disagreements like any relationship, but we love each other and are meant to be together. I think that February will always have a special place in my heart for that reason.
Faithbox I gave Faithbox a try this month and I love it! I got the Uninvited Faithbox and have been enjoying reading it so far. I love that Faithbox provides quality products that support important causes. I’ll be sharing more about Faithbox next week so make sure to look out for it!
That’s a little bit about February! I have some really big, exciting things planned for March and I can’t wait to share them with you all!
What’s new with you? What are you celebrating or planning for? I’d love
