You know what I love about Valentine’s Day? It’s the one day of the year whenever couples can be as cheesy and romantic as they want and get away with it. It gives us a reason to have a ‘candle-lit’ dinner instead of just dinner. It means that we get to read sweet messages written in pretty cards and fill our homes with roses. I don’t even mind that many people think the holiday is just a way for companies to get a little richer. I love Valentine’s Day. I love romance. And I love having another reason for a romantic date night.
So, in the spirit of Valentine’s Day, here are the 8 most romantic Valentine’s Day Date Ideas.
Share a plate of spaghetti like Lady and the Tramp if you want to. Or maybe go with steak and potatoes. Either way. turn down the lights and light the candles. Play a little romantic music in the background and enjoy a romantic evening together.

Weekend at the Cabin
Getting away from life and spending a quiet weekend together is one of the best things that you can do for your marriage! It doesn’t matter so much where you go, mostly just that you go together and leave your worries behind. You can read more about our romantic Smoky Mountain getaway here.
